I would like to lift up my in-laws in prayer. My ex-husband called & said they were slandering his name all over town & telling people he is a deadbeat dad. He is relly stressed out over this because this was supposed to be his support while going through our divorce. He has done nothing but give them money while he works & they watch our children & school them. Now he is forced to uproot them & take them 8 hrs. away to another state, which is where his office is. He is extremwly distraught & has even erased their phone numbers off his phone & has said he wants nothing to do with them. These are people who are supposed to be godly Christian people. This family gave me my first exposure to God & real family love. I just ask for prayer for them.

Father in your word you say; everything can work out for the good of those who love you!
Lord work in the lives of Your children. Speak to each heart as needed.
Give them understanding for each others views, so they may work together to raise these children.
In Jesus Name, Amen

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I will get to visit with my children on Monday, but this may be the last time I see them for a while. I know it sounds strange but I feel this divorce is bringing us closer together, although my older children are still ignoring me. God has opened my eyes to how much I have hurt them with my affair. I only pray that its not too late for my in-laws to mend fences with my ex & our children because my in-laws have also done the same thing to their other eldest children who have their own families. Its almost like its a pattern with them to push their children out of their lives.

My ex has not talked to his family in over a week. He went to get his credit card back that he loaned them to take care of our kids while he was working in NM. I don't know what was said but he can't get packed up fast enough. I ask prayers for him & prayers for his family because now he has no support. I pray he gives this burden over to Jesus.
