Shilo, I had a very close friend years ago who was married to a terrific guy, one of our church elders.
They were unable to have childrem, though she did get pregnant twice.
She did not attend baby showers. It just hurt too much.
I didn't understand at that time...and I am sad I had less compassion than I ought to have had.
I never showed my lack to her, but it was there...in my heart.
I am grateful Brandy has you, and a loving family to just love her right now.
Some people can handle this sort of loss more easily than others.
Soft, tender hearted people tend to bear it least easily.
We pragmatic, heartless folks bear up more durably, but oh, what the Lord has to do
to enlarge our hearts!
