This so painful it's ridiculous. I've previously posted that I lost my dad almost 2 months ago. About 3 weeks ago I broke off a lot of communication with my mom because it was abusive and I finally got the guts to tell her no. I sent her a card when she went in for a minor surgery. I sent her a birthday card, but she refused to stop talking to me. But every message was her lashing out. I was a sadist. I was a horrible daughter. How could I call myself a Christian. She cant believe she gave birth to me... And so on... A couple days ago I got an expletive ladent text from my brother abou how he never wanted to speak to me again because I was (and he listed all the stuff my mom has always said). Today I got a letter from my grandmother about me being a judgemental Christian and I should just ignore what my mom says. I have yet to respond. I don't even know that I should.
According to the letter my mom was diagnosed bipolar and told she has kidney problems from being diabetic. I don't know if that's true.

The Lord's peace be with you. Lord, I pray for healing in the broken relationship between Jordache and her family. Renew and restore them. I asked this in the Name of Jesus.

I believe the Lord has a good purpose here, though we don't yet see it. Not that it makes things any easier right now, sister.
We often think of Romans 8:28--
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
But I think it's important (and gibes us peace!) to note what that purpose is:
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son v.29
This is a glorious, and sometimes painful process. I am sorry for your pain, Jordache.

The very first friend I ever made as a believer (over 25 years ago!) and I were talking yesterday, via FB, about these verses--
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 and
For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Cor.4:17-18

I thought I should mention them, somehow...they seem to be for you, Jordache. ♥

I have asked our Father that you will be given faith, and love for your "enemies", and perserverance, and rest in Christ. ♥

I believe that God is doing something. I know He is working in me. I feel a bit like Job. I didn't really do anything. For whatever reason, well for His glory, God chose to place me in the family I am in. In some ways it seems like a cruel joke. But Gods plan is great. My whole family is turning on me just as I am finally figuring out my own life. I want to believe, but sometimes it's a hard faith to keep.

I have a freind in the same situation, she reminds me of Joseph, but she has overcome a lot
of adversity and serves the Lord with a big smile on her face, She loves the lord with all her heart and it was his love and grace that she is not one bit angry or bitter, she has also been blessed
so much by the Lord a wonderful life, i belive it is because of her faithfullness to the lord.

I know the lord is doing something. I struggle but I am alive and serving God by His grace. I feel like Joseph or even Job some days though I hope it doesn't get that far.

How many people have prayed for the starving children in Africa? They're still starving.

Did you know that it is a fallen world? Did you know that Satan is the destroyer? Did you know the world is a battleground of good against evil? Maybe you are not tough enough to do the battle.

If you care about the starving people then you go and feed them. Give to charity and do your part.

Good then maybe you should go to work or get a job so you can make lots of money and donate to charity to help feed all those poor people you are talking about.

Gabbing and trolling around here isn't helping anybody now is it?

Its not just about having good things happen, in Jesus, its also about havng victory over all things of the world.
So that one in Jesus, no longer is powerless, but in Jesus, has joy in all things, knowing the perfect and eternal life that is promised .

Praying still for you tacomaster, in Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh. :)

God bless

Does your mother accept Jesus as her lord and savior? Does anyone else in your family accept Jesus as their lord and savior?
