My mom and I have been going through a difficult time. She has always been a very toxic person and I finally realized I didn't have to endure it, so I stopped talking to her for a while. I still calle on birthdays and what not, but I cut everything else out. She became homeless about a yr go and was sleeping on my grabdmothers recliner for almost 6 months. He's become physically disabled. She barely walks with a cane, needs a shoulder replacement, and two knee surgeries. She was also diagnose Bipolar several months ago. I spoke with her yesterday and he said they'd diagnosed her also as schizophrenic. Considering the symptoms she shared with me, I'm not so sure she is. She sounds hypervigilant (as in PTSD), not schizo.
Overall she's doing better. I've talked to her a few times and she's been calm. But yesterday she lit the turkey on fire. She says she's a walking zombie otherwise.
Please pray for my mom, Teresa. She is a Christian but she can't go to church much. She's much too you to have all the ailments she has.
