Hi Saints,


Please pray for me . I struggle with fear and anxiety with my job its very stressful. I work in IT i feel under qualified. The guys I work with as extremely career motivated all they talk about is work. Its like they are brain washed.
I really want an easier more laid back job where i go in and do my job and go home at the end of the day and leave my work behind me. Not laid back like lazy but I still want to work hard but some thing that suits me better .
I am on call for this month and they just expect more and more out of me all the time.
I see work as some thing that pays my bills, but these guys see it as their life.
The guys are not very helpful they expect me to know how to do everything myself. They don't really show you how to do the job. Also a memory stick with important information might have gone missing over the last few days please pray they I will find it or that one of the other guys has it. Please pray the the Lord will be with me in a powerful way today and over the next few days as I am away in another country working with this job.
This job has travel and fancy dinners expensed to the company but none of this stuff interests me I love sharing the gospel and being a witness. I need prayer to over come anxiety and stress that this job gives me.
Please pray that I will find a more suitable job for me.
I need Gods help and favor and the prayer of the saints to help me. I know there are people going through far worse in this world and im grateful for what i have but i just need help. Please pray for deliverence from every attack of the enemy please pray that if they are laying traps for me at work that the plans or schemes of the the devil will back fire on those that would see to trip me up. Please pray that ill with be bold and courageous and filled with the holy spirit. Also for protection because im witnessing every day with muslim taxi drivers and different people the ememy might be attacking me because of this too as I am witnessing with people on my daily walk.

I can identify with so much of what you say about your job. It's what the
enemy wants, he wants us to be stressed, to focus on the world, he wants human
being to place more value on the here and now instead of the eternal.

Lord you have heard the cry of Johnthree, Lord help him to do his job, bring
ideas and solutions to him and he does this jobs. I pray that he will find
favour in the eyes of his employers and that this lost data stick will be found.

I pray also that Lord you will open up new opportunities for a change of role
or job, one in which he can be content and feel at peace and do the work
you have given him to do for you.

Bring refreshement to his mind and body and your calm into this
situation.

IT really is one of those jobs you have to be passionate about. It changes constantly and you have to keep up. That means keeping up away from the job. About two hours a night researching and reading up on the latest.

I don't blame you for not wanting to do that. Me either. My hubby was that kind of guy. But he hasn't worked in 14 years, so there would be no way for him to do it again. You might want to try and figure out what else you can do, because IT is going to haunt you all the time you're doing it. It changes in half year increments.
