For years I've know that God has called me to preach. The think is my parents want me to join the military. I know that i could be a chaplin in the milirary but I know its not what im supposto do. Whenever i tell them how i feel all they want to do is argue. If i tell them I want to preach they argue with me about religin I dont know what to do. I've made up my mind already on what i want to do ,but they refuse to accept that. I need prairs that God will guide me and any advice is appreciated.

You are 16, and therefore less that a third of my age. The only thing I can say to you is that you can take time to think, and to learn, and to make your decision. Life is not always about hurry - and that's possibly the only thing living longer than you have so far has taught me.

I pray that you and your parents will find time to let matters develop, and that in the end you will be guided by faith to make the right choice for your faith. Amen.
