Last year he was on radiation treatment for cancer. It was the Holy Spirit who urged him to see a doctor for a random check up and it was then that they discovered he had cancer in it's early stage, before the symptoms were even there, so he was lucky. The treatment was successful and all was well. Just the other day he started getting a pain in his side. We think it may be an appendicitis but won't know until tomorrow, but I'm hoping it's not cancer. He's in hospital overnight and they should have test results by the morning.

Add to this, my mother is home alone for the first time in years. My siblings don't live in the same area, so they're not there to stop on by. She never learnt how to drive, despite my urging her to, in the event of an emergency, but church family are helping out.

Please pray that all goes well and that God watches over them during this time. Thanks :)

Thanks both, for your prayers!

One of the great securities of believers is that we know where we're spending eternity. We will miss and mourn for loved ones, but a part of us will have peace that they are present with the Lord, and we can't wait to join them. The lost don't have this same security, they have no peace.

I think my family still have many years left. They are both God's children, so God is looking out for them :)

Nunsnroses - I'm really sorry to hear that. Is your mother born again?

(By the way, cancer cannot develop in an alkaline body. It's crucial to get your PH level right, going for more alkaline foods)

Love and Blessing, Shekaniah

I just wanted to add, I have been reading a lot lately about Acid/Alkaline. PH balance is very important.
Macrobiotics is all about balance in food.
If you can ignor the rest of the teaching...yin/yang it is good information.

Yes my mother is saved. :)

She even had a near death experience during brain surgery once and told us all about the immense peace she felt. She heard a voice say "Her family still needs her." Sure enough she's still with us going strong and we definately needed her! (I was 12 at this time)

Please keep us updated!
