Pres...i hope this will be an encouragement?

when our son was 19, an arterio-venus malformation in his brain ruptured,
and he had a significant intracranial hemorrhage.
he was completely paralyzed on the left side.
was in the hospital for 2 months...
the neurosurgeon said the bleed was 1 cm from the speech and language center of his brain.

and God healed him.
he still has a tiny struggle shrugging his shoulders,
but he's back to playing drums. :rolleyes:

******UPDATE******
They tested Eli's blood again and there are no signs of the infections!!! They did a spinal tap and no sign of spinal meningitis!! He finally went poop again so hopefully in a day or two his feedings will go up. :) His seizures are still gone! His brain bleed is a level 2 now and he may need to have some of the blood and fluid drained out. (Please pray it all goes well if they do)
He now weighs 2lbs 9oz!! :)
(Closer to 2lbs 10oz)

Thank you God!!! Thank you for taken care of our miracle!!

Father God,
please keep this child safe and healthy. And bring him into the world when its his time, may he have a LONG and happy life. Keep this woman in good health so she can be there after the birth of her son to love and care for him. Amen.

UPDATE

Eli has been home since January 6th.

He had to overcome a lot.
He had surgery for ROP And he had to have a VP Shunt. He had gotten a brain bleed that caused to much fluid built up so the VP shunt was placed.
They said he has CLD but he out grew it. Eli has seizures now because of the brain bleed. They are hopeful he will out grow them.
But all around, Eli is 100% healthy.

God is amazing! The doctor said Eli shouldn't have made it but the Lord had other plans.

I pray a prayer of thanksgiving for this little life you have preserved. Truly You are the great Restorer and the Saviour. We know who stands behind us and we know who goes before us, whom shall we fear?
