Okay somethings wrong with the chatroom, so I guess I'll do it in here.

A few weeks ago I ran into this girl at work of whom I used to go to school with back in junior high. Found out she had on a crush on me at the time and thinking back on it, so did I, but we never acted on it and I was oblivious. But I asked if that offer was still open and she said yes so long as we did things the right way. I told her about the difficulties of the long commute and she told me that the other side of the duplex she's living in is up for grabs and she described the place and the surrounding area. Afterwards I prayed on the matter and asked God if this could work given its within His will.

No more than a week later I suppose, my mom, who I live with, finally decided it was high time to move, and she chose this duplex where the girl lives. I didn't say anything about and decided to just let her be at the wheel on this one. Well, the people she works with not only laid down the deposits but also paid to have some professionals move our stuff. The move has been hard on both of us, our previous place of residence we dwelled in for over ten years. We're settling in nicely.

The girl in question, she is a christian as she brought it up when we spoke that day. I've been praying hard and thinking long around this. I sent her a message yesterday via written paper hoping to break ice and I know she got it.

Truth is, I want to do this right. For now, I just want to be a friend... to have a friend. As a christian, I believe I can make things work so long as I stay true to what I know... to what God has taught me thus far. I've never had a neighbor whom I can actually call "friend", and I believe it'll help me grow even more closer to God. If we fall for each other along the road... well, while that may be the goal, I'm really hoping to just live and let be, and enjoy the little things with her, to experience life. I know I'm flawed, I know I'm a sinner, but thats why I need this... the biggest downside to being single, to having no friends, is that there is no one there to pick you up. You can know all there is to know about God, but it's not enough if there's no one to share it with. I've written more than I intended in this paragraph so I'll move on.

My request, is this: that she and I may be able to reach each other. I haven't been able to muster the courage to knock on her door, I haven't been able to approach her and say whats up. I know its only been three days since I've moved in... I know I have plenty of rope to hold on to, but given that its almost too good to be true, I'm really anxious here. So if you could please just take a moment dear CC board, can you please give me a little boost of prayer, or a strong boost (lol) I'd be most grateful.

Your brother of in faith,
Ihsomiet.

So I just moved into this nice duplex with my mom. The people my mom works with laid down the deposits for it AND paid for the move
