Sometimes we as Christians get so concerned about "spiritual this and that" that we forget the Lord is out defender, we cannot be shaken. We rely on him alone, he sustains us and is the victor of our daily battles - spiritual or physical, soul, spirit, body or mind he is the strong unbreakable Rock that we ground our feet upon.
Even pagan people, God loves them too, continue to pray for your family. Members of my very own extended family are still polytheists (aso anamua ltr. 'the belief of the old days'), I pray for them, show them love and most of all tell them about the truth. The light of our Lord Christ Jesus. You are not alone, we are all here for you in prayer and solidarity. Most of all, the Eternal God watches you and protects you. He does not sleep nor rest, he is eternally on guard and covers you under his mighty shadow.
Our situations and trials do not alter his innate goodness. His goodness is consistent, whether we are having good times or bad times. We trust in him because we know that ultimately he has the betterment of our souls in his eternal unfolding plan. Trusting the goodness of his character and the immortal love that he has for us, no matter what happens, he is always good. His plans are not altered or determined by actions, his plans come into being no matter what we or anyone else tries to do.
He has foreseen all things before they actualize into reality itself, therefore we rely on him for he knows the things he has for us. His divine will presides over all things. Every aspect of reality is sustained actively by his conserving almighty power, including the very breaths that we take. There is no other source of being or existence, no other foundation of wisdom or knowledge, no other God but him.
I encourage you to continue to submit your entire being to his will, his mercy and his love. Godbless you, may the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Divine Trinity never cease to guide you in all wisdom and sustain you in strength and endurance. Pray, Read, Praise and Love.
