First, I want to say thank you to everyone that may read this post. Regardless, if you take time out to write or verbally pray, our God will know that you are reading this and that is the same as a prayer to me.
My wife and I are trying to concieve a child. Now, we have not struggled for yrs as I know a lot of couples have, and my heart and prayers go out to those persons first and foremost. Though, I want to have another child..(I have two from a previous marriage, my wife has none), I still pray for all those around me before I asked anything for myself. My wife has not had a good track record with two pregnancies ending within the first tri-mester, plus I have had a vasectomy..then a reversal of the vasectomy...so at a close look...seems as the odds are stacked up against us. I know that all things are possible with God, and that is why I bring my request to everyone here.
I am sure she has prayed everyday, as do I...that we will be able to conceive and bring a child into this world together. I want nothing more than to watch our marriage grow under God, and flourish with the addition of a child. (My two daughters stay with me as well at times, I am currently in the military so they get the summers with me.) My life has changed so much since finding God, and I cant wait to introduce Him to my daughters and I hope soon..a baby boy/girl.
Please pray for my wife and I that we are able to conceive a child soon and that all will go smoothly throughout the pregnacy and delivery. I feel somewhat selfish for asking such a request, but the disappointment that I witness every month when once again...no conception has began to wear us both done mentally...though we remain strong spiritually! Each month that goes that we do not conceive I hear my wife say..."Lord, I ask you to allow my husband and I to conceive a child...I know that you will when the time is right...so until that time comes please watch over the child that you have planned for us." Brings tears to my eyes...everytime!!
