this might look like a stupid prayer request, but i'm putting it up anyway.

our school is in the cup final for football/soccer and i'm the school goalkeeper. we're up against a good team. the game is tomorrow. i'm not asking for you to pray for us to win. i'm asking you to pray for these things;

for our lads; pray that they play to the best of their abilities, push themselves even. also, keep them from getting injured.

for their lads; pray that they prove a challenge for us. keep them away from injury too.

for me; i've played in goal for our school before, but never in a final. i'm not nervous or worried, but i've made mistakes in the past that i do not want to make now. pray that i play better than i am. i don't want to let to the lads down. i've helped them get to the final, i'm not gonna let them down now.

for our year 11's; a few year 11 pupils will be playing for us, i'm sure of it. i am a year 11 pupil. this will be our last match for the school. we have come close before. back in the 2009/2010 season, we got to the final, but lost, about 4-0. i wasn't a goalkeeper at this time, but i was in the team. i got a runner-up medal, just like our lads. in the 2010/2011 season, we didn't get to the final. i'm sure the year 11's want that winners medal. i admit, i wouldn't mind getting a winners medal either, but i ask for this. pray that our last game is the best game that we ever played for the school, whether we win or lose.

pray for their year 11's as well please.

the game is tomorrow guys, please pray for us all.

Cool! Bro, just say to yourself, "I will play my best, I will save every ball that comes and I will do it perfectly through Christ"
I was part of the team that won the school tornament in my final year, those where good times! I will pray for everyone. God bless

I will keep you and the teams in my prayers. Just faith in God and I positive you will do great. Great things are for those who believe. :)

Romans 4: 20-22
"He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness."

I should of posted what happened.

We lost 2-0.

I was kicked on the head during the first few minutes. Doing what I had to do.

It was a great game.

I got sun-burn :(

My last game for the school :(

That yellow goalkeeper's shirt. I'm gonna miss putting that on.

I did a lot for the school. Playing as the goalkeeper. I've put my back on the line. I've put my ribs on the line. I've put my head on the line. I've put my thumb (no messing) on the line. All for the school.
