Hello all,

I have been humiliated and depressed. I was humiliated by my dad. I heard him and my future stepmom talking trash about me lately this week. It made me cry. I love my dad to death and I like my future stepmom too but I haven't done anything to any of them to talk trash about me, and I wish it would stop. When I head my dad talk about me, it felt like a dagger went through my heart and out the back. Please pray for me in this difficult time.

It must have been heartbreaking. I will pray for you as I see serious conflicts ahead.

i'm so sorry you heard those painful words.
my husband and i have six grown children, and i can testify from my own experience that parents can be idiots (SINNERS!).
i don't know if your dad is a Christian, but i see by your profile you're not.
(I hope and pray you will think about it though. ♥ )

the love you feel for your dad and future stepmom will stand you in good stead.
but i am praying for you this evening. i won't forget you.

Hi Psychomom,

I do go to church, but I haven't been saved and baptized, so I don't know if that makes me a Christian. My dad ges to church too, as well as my future stepmom.

When you talk to him, explain everything to our ABBa Father, when you start praying for them, the Holy spirit will quicken your spirit, to be able to forgive them. I know, someone that I trusted hurt me, the things that are happening in the world, are a tremendous impact on other people's lives. Thank you ABBA God, our heavenly Father, that we are not alone, and not thrown out with the baby blanket, but are your children, and let the winds of conviction roll over this family, in Jesus HOly name. amen God bless you.

I'm sorry, knowbody ever wants to here anybody talk down to anyone, God catches every tear drop and he here's your cry. Have you tried to sit them down and talk with them. Expressing your feelings. If it is difficult to speak in front of them, write your feelings and how they make you feel and take that with you when you talk with them, remember they must fully invest while your talking to them, so make sure the place is quite and there are no distractions.
