Felt a bit compelled this morning to post this psalm and then just open up for any prayers/agreeing in prayer for the people of our country. Asking God for wisdom, great hope in the hearts of those who feel there is no hope and also great thankfulness towards God for although our country may be and has been in a really hard spot, we as believers have so much to be thankful for through Jesus Christ! amen. And Father praying You give us great courage and faith to make the right decisions in dependance upon Your Spirit, according to Your will in the midst of "it all" in Jesus name. Thank you Lord. And though there is great injustice all around we believe that You have provided a way through the cross for that injustice to be totally eradicated in our lives(on earth as it already is in heaven)and in the lives of our loved ones, You have made a way for us to be made whole and healed and reconciled fully to You and Your presence
1 Corinthians 5:19 "that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.." so we say BE RECONCILED TO YOUR FATHER GOD WHO LOVES YOU AND LONGS FOR HIS CHILDREN TO BE ONE WITH HIM!
and here is the psalm i thought was pretty great:
Psalm 146
1Praise the Lord.a
Praise the Lord, O my soul.
2I will praise the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
this part really stood out to me
3Do not put your trust in princes,
in mortal men, who cannot save.
4When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;
on that very day their plans come to nothing.
5Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6the Maker of heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
the Lord, who remains faithful forever.
7He upholds the cause of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry.
The Lord sets prisoners free,
8the Lord gives sight to the blind,
the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,
the Lord loves the righteous.
9The Lord watches over the alien
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
10The Lord reigns forever,
your God, O Zion, for all generations.
Praise the Lord.
Thank u God and bless your people. Thank you that we can most certainly put our trust in YOU Jesus and you will not let us down. people may fail us but Your love will satisfy us and give us what we need Lord.
