Prayers for release of guilt

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

I am a person consumed by guilt for the sins of my past. I know our God has forgiven me, but I am having trouble forgiving myself. I need prayers for the release of this burden. Thank you all so much.

Praying for you. That's such a difficult feeling to get into. Jesus has taken the punishment. We don't have to keep punishing ourselves. His sacrifice is sufficient.

Do you realize that the Lord is happy with you when you love your neighbor as yourself? Look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, what does this guilt I am feeling have to do with loving my neighbor as myself??? If your guilt has nothing to do with loving your neighbor as yourself (which if done indicates the entire law is fulfilled), why are you on a guilt trip? If you are a born again Christian, be assured that if you are obsessed with something that has nothing to do with loving God & neighbor, you are in a state of carnality, probably mixed with legalism.

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God Who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not make void the grace of God, for if righteousness is by the law, then Christ died in vain.

Lord Jesus please lift the burden, and give your passion, Amen

Guilt is weight we carry that condemns us, God has told us through Christ that we no longer need to carry this , this is of old man nature, put on the new mind of Christ which is done every time we go into his word and start doing what he had told us to do. So prayer is on it's way let not the thief steal your joy no longer but rather have your renewed mind be of words of faith and fight against the evil old fleshly was. God has thrown it away and remembers it not, this is a powerful thing to have said so we might follow his words and deeds.

The depth of the guilt you feel? Invert that into the heights of your resolve to never do such things again. Every time you feel condemnation, answer it with determination. You don't have to forgive yourself. You just have to never do it again.

Praying for you in Jesus's name for victory over this guilt.

Jesus desires that you forgive yourself ans He has forgiven you.

Praying that you will accept the love of Christ daily. Because truly his sacrifice has covered all we have done and will do. Speak kindly to yourself; and remember it is the sick that need a dr and that is why Jesus came. You are not alone; we are your brothers and sisters and stand with you and hold you up.
