John 11:25-26Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
Imagine your Messiah standing in front of you asking you this question... Now ask yourself, "do you
believe this?" Do you believe the words he spoke...or do you doubt his words and believe in death instead?
Which is real to you? Which is more powerful? Which is truth?
Then ask your mother, with all conviction in your soul; with the fire of the Almighty burning in your eyes, "Do you believe this, mom? Do you believe in John 11:25-26?"
You are Israel...recently freed from your Egypt (i.e. bondage to sin)...and now Pharaoh's Chariots (i.e. satan's agents of sickness & disease) are fast approaching, with the intent to kill you without reservation. You are stuck between this army and hundreds of millions of gallons of water (i.e. the history of such situations being unchangeable)...Death is drawing nearer to you & your family and you have nowhere else to turn.
What do you do, Liz? Well this is what Moses told the people...
Exodus 14:13-1613 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
15 And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore cries thou unto me? speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward:
16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
As children of light we do
not live in darkness; and we do
not see using our eyes. *Our* reality is
not the situation in front of us, but is the one promised to us by Christ's words. So do not be afraid. Just stand strong, stretch out your hand with complete faith in his power, and witness God's salvation. He'll make a way when there is no way.
I will be praying for you too.
