Reborn!!!

It's been two days since I gave my life to christ. It hasn't been easy since this change has required me to loose really close friends and so many other things. I know God has a plan for me as he does for everybody else. I could really appreciate the support and by that I mean prayers. It would mean so much to me. I'm taking it day by day and I know God won't leave me. Thanks everybody and i hope you guys have a great day

He who has begun a Good Work in you...Will be faithful to complete it! Of that...you can be sure. Thanks Lord Jesus for giving our new brother all that he needs for life and Godliness!

Praise the Lord! I will definately pray for you. But I have a question. Why did you have to give up all your friends? Maybe it's the company I keep but I've never had to give up a friend because of my faith.

I suppose if you were jewish or muslim I could see the problem. Do tell, I love to hear how people have come to Christ!

Thanks!!!And well the thing is that they were bad company I guess you can say. They led me to drugs, alcohol, and became and adict on smoking. Everybody has known me for something and that was music. I was in the band with them for about 6 years now. So many things were going for us as in getting signed and everything. But I felt like I was doing for the wrong reasons. I felt confused and lost. I've known about Jesus my whole life. I was actually raised in a christian church. I just lost faith overtime...God opend my eyes and I just feel so good. The last past 4 years have been hell and now I feel free. A lot of people have told me that I'm stupid for what I did, but why loose my soul for something that's not going to save me..but yeah that's the story. It's been really hard, but I'm praying and talking to God everyday and with His help I know I can do anything. I'm really excited for what he has in store for me

Father God we thank and praise you for our new brother in Christ. We pray that you'll continue to prosper him, strengthen him, guide him, protect him. This is only the beginning. There will be great times and there will be tough times. His faith will be tested. Help him to remember that you will be there with him every step of the way. Help him remember that the devil is still trying to get him down, and help him to shout against the devil and renounce those lies. Lord, guide him on this walk he's walking. May he grow to be more and more like you. May he realize that he is set apart, he's a light. May the unsaved people around him look at him, and be able to see you in him. Thank you for all you've done and thank you for what you're going to do. We pray all these things in your name, amen.

GodRocker15, I was also born again at the age of 15. I too lost "friends", acquaintances. It can be tuff at first, but in the long run is worth it. The Father does not take anything away from us, that He doesn't eventuall replace with something better. You, like most christians, will not have a large number of very close friends, but those you have, are worth your time.
Father, I pray you continue to watch over Your son. I thank you that you have given him everything he needs to live his life in You. And that you will always be faithful to him in every season of life. May your presence surround him and be his shield and comfort. amen.

Thank you guys so much for your prayers! It really mean alot to me. I will be praying for you guys as well. Turns out some of my friends came last night and actually sat down and talked to me. They respected my decision and what not and I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. More likely its a good thing knowing that I'm in good terms with them. I'll be finishing the record with them, but I'm not in the band anymore. I couldn't say no since they have worked so hard for it so I'll be helping them but I'm not part of the group. Hopefully God gives me strength not to fall into temptation. The feeling I have now when I wake up knowing that God is there....is the most amazing feeling I've ever felt in years...Again thank you guys so much for your prayers! I cant wait for your first post in your new band that Glorifies God. This ministry to which the Lord has called you is going to be awesome, just always keep Christ as the shining star! I'm excited for you but understand where you are at. Most of my friends are unbelievers, many of them bikers. We dont attend the things we used to but occasionally go to a bike rodeo. Here's the deal, the Lord uses that in a big way. Study to show yourself approved that when the chips are down for your friends you will be the one they turn to for council. I'm excited for you cause I know the Lord has Big things in store for you! AWESOME!!!! I'll definitely pray. Make sure to always give God the Glory. I thought of this song for you. Bless your heart
