Hey guys.

As you may have seen, I'm new here. I've recently become Christian. Sometimes I feel like I am loosing my passion and love for God and I have been praying for Him to fill me with his love and a desire to know Him.

I find it is always the difficult times that draw me to him, making me feel ungrateful when things are going okay. In my mind, for some reason, asking people to pray for me seems selfish somehow.

I am looking for fellow believers to help me in my request to our Father to fill me with His joy and a desire to know him better.

In such cases I always sing to my Lord and he fills me with joy or just Thank

It is not selfish to ask for prayer :) The bible basically tells us to Love, Read the bible, and Pray.
It tells us to pray for eachother, and to pray always.

Read Paul's letters, notice how he always talking about praying for the people he is writing to.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Ephesians 6.18

Thank you so much guys. Psalms 18 really helped me last night. Really felt His presence and broke down into tears. The Lord is always with us and loves us so much.

I will pray for you. Singing does help bring us closer to God. I have been having problems loving God. :)

It isn't selfish to ask for prayers :) . It is something that the body of Christ does for each other. So it's an honor and a privilege to be asked to pray for a brother or sister.

As a new Christian, you'll probably find your emotions going up and down. But rest assured that your relationship with Christ is secure, even when you're down in the dumps.

Praying for you to continue on the path that He has set before you...may you know Him very deeply :)
