Please pray for my 23yr old daughter.
She ran over my 14yr old poodle today.
We had to put her down, the vet could not help her.

We all are sad...but my daughter loved Gidget and grew up with her.
It's breaking my daughters heart knowing she put her through so much pain.
(My poodle was going deaf, I think thats why she walked behind her car.)
I will miss Gidget too, but I know it was the fact she was old that caused her death.

sorry about your wee doggie and i feel bad for your daughter also ,, your familys in my prayers ,,,but more your daughter ,,,she must feel like she killed her best friend ,,,and i know that feeling well ,,i had to put my own dog down as it was a farm dog and we were moving back into town ,,,my dad told me its you dog and you have to do it ,,,i was 16 at that time *Teddy* was my best friend ,,,, so i do understnad how she may feel ,,,,but life goes on ,,,,,as Christmas is comming soon it may well be an idea for a new puppy or young doggie to come into the family ,,,, just a thought

My daughter was over visting me. She is married and has two dogs.
We are a dog loving family. I myself have two other poodles and a german shepherd.
Yes, our dogs are like family.

My daughter does need the peace of God to heal her heart.
She cried all night...even though my daughter nolonger lives with me,
Gidget would follow every step when she came to visit.

Everlasting Father, Thankyou that you understand our pain and hurts.
Thankyou LORD that You will one day wipe every tear from our eyes!
Thankyou for Your Holy Spirit who is the Comforter.
I pray You are soo close to this young lady and her Mum all the time they need You.
Thankyou for Your Peace, You who soothes our troubled hearts.
You are close to them, healing them LORD, THANKYOU in Your Son's precious name Amen.

Keeping you and especially your daughter in prayer. Poor thing! You relive that"thud" so many times...

Not to compare, or to diminish what your daughter is going through, but something similar happened to Steven Curtis Chapman's family a few years ago...his 16 yo son backed down the drive, and Steven's 5 yo daughter ran out..........
About a year later we were ministered to, in a small concert at a local church, by SCC AND his son. They played songs Steven had written as a result of their tragedy. God was glorified. ♥
I say this for hope in a spirit of "Look what God can do!" (not to share with your child--I hope you understand!) That's a whole lot of healing, praise God!

I ask our Father for healing and peace, and that in whatever way He deems best, He will be glorified in all things.

I KNOW THAT FEELING. A ROBIN LAYED A FEW EGGS IN MY DRYER HOSE. I WONDERED WHY THE CLOTHES WERENT DRYING TILL I PULLED OUT A WHOLE BAG OF NESTLINGS AND OUT FELL 4 BLUE EGGS WITH IT. I TRIED TO PUT IT ALL BACK BUT THE MOM NEVER CAME BACK. SO I TRIED TO CARE FOR THEM. I DON'T KNOW IF THE DRYER OVER DID IT WITH THE HEAT, OR I DID. YOU WERE ABLE TO SEE ONE OF THE EGGS MOVEMENTS UNDER THE LIGHT IN THE DARK, AND I KEPT IT UNDER A LAMP, WARM, ALTHOUGH IT NEEDS TO BE A CERTAIN TEMPERTURE. I TOOK THE TEMP. Q. 2 HOURS, AND TURNED IT, AND PREPARED TO BUY THE BABY BIRD FOOD. THEN AFTER DOING THIS FOR 1 WEEK TO THE DAY THEY WERE TO HATCH, THERE WASN'T SUCH A GOOD ORDOR. I FELT SO TERRIBLE, THINKING IF THERE WAS SOMETHING THAT COULD OF BEEN DONE TO PREVENT THIS. I'M OVER IT NOW, BUT ONLY WANTED TO SHARE THIS WITH YOU BECAUSE WE AS WOMEN, GIRLS, ARE MADE TENDER HEARTED, AND CARING, THAT'S HOW THE LORD MADE US. HOPING ALL WILL BECOME NEW SOON WITH NO GUILT LEFT. IN CHRIST.

I'm so sorry for the pain and grief you and your daughter are going through :(

Our pets become members of the family and we do grieve over them.

Praying especially for your daughter..for comfort and peace. A big fear I have is running over one of my cats; they like to sleep under my car.
