Jesus is with you.
The dentist and his/her assistants are professionals.
Who will take you out of the loving hands of God the Father? - Romans 8:35-39
Certainly not them......certainly not anybody.
Be strong in the POWER OF HIS MIGHT!
(The secret is this: that it is His strength):
Just yield yourself to that promise. - This is faith.
I am praying.

Dear Lord, I lay this request before you. As he goes to the dentist tomorrow, wrought a miracle in his life and take away his anxiety. Lord, keep him in perfect peace so that he will have every reason to glorify your name. In Your precious holy name I pray, amen.

Have faith in the Lord, He will heal you.:)

Michael, i know what your going through. I suffer from the same things. It makes everyday normal tasks seem almost impossible to do. Ive had this since i was a child.

I would get panic attacks that lasted for up to 5 hours sometimes. I even got them in my sleep. I lost days because i felt so out of touch with reality because of them.

Some things that help me when i start to get a panic attack or get anxious.

I pray and ask God to help me relax and then i force myself to stay calm and relax my body as much as i can. The more you fight the anxiety and panic the worse it will get. If your going to get a panic attack your going to get one, you might as well chill out while your having it. The more you tense up the longer it will last. Don't take deep breaths, keep your breathing shallow. Deep breathing will just make you feel dizzy and add to the panic.

Do NOT panic thinking about weather or not you might get a panic attack, Dont give yourself anxiety thinking about weather or not your going to have anxiety. I know you know what im talking about. Im sure youve been giving yourself anxiety over if your going to have anxiety tomorrow at your appointment. Your going to do great though. Think positively, when you start to get those anxious thoughts in your head start praying or repeating scripture. The minute you start entertaining that anxious thought its got you.

If your eating a lot of sugar... stop. No caffeine either. Start exersizing, do.something to get your heart rate up. It releases endorphins in your brain. Make sure your getting enough sleep, being tired makes the anxiety worse... i know you know that already though.

The other thing is to change your thinking. Panic and anxiety are just feelings, and i know there the worst kind of feelings, but in the end thats all they are... feelings. They cant hurt you. Remember that. Do things that make you happy, dont put your life on hold for this.

Trust God, that was what helped me the most. I couldnt get in a car for almost a year because it would make me feel like i couldn't breathe, i felt trapped so i would start to panic and think i cant breathe.. im gonna die or im gonna pass out! That got old really fast so i finally said you know what, God i trust you if i pass out i pass out if i stop breathing and die well i'll just have to stop breathing and die. I refused to care anymore.

I would on purpose put myself in situations that made me get panic attacks so i could learn and experiment with what worked the most on helping me stay calm.

This isnt to say i never get them, i still do, but i can be in a state of total panic and anxiety and you would never know it. I carry on just as normal. You can push past this, you will get through this :)

Im really going to be praying for you about this. I know it feels like your dying, but your not, and this isnt going to kill you.

Take a deep breath clench your fist for 10 seconds and hold you breath for 10 secs .
Now let your breath out and then unclench your fist and drop out of your clenched fist what ever is bothering u at the time .
And if it first you dont succeed clench breath breath out and drop again. And dont just drop it out throw it out

Sometimes just keeping a clenched fist for a lenght of time helps to.

Firstly I know exactly how you feel. I too suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks. I didn't go to the dentist for 10 years out if fear, but guess what? When I finally went it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. This is what I do for my anxiety. I pray that God will surround me in his armor to protect me. If I start to panic I count backwards from 100 by 7's. it's hard to do and it distracts you from the panic. Also I explained how I felt to my dentist and they were very gentle and understanding. I pray that your anxiety and panic will ease and that you will feel calm and at peace during your appointment and beyond. Amen

Michael, I'm so glad you joined us. :)

If you see this in time, please do let the dentist know about your trouble.
I feel confident you're not the first patient they've seen with anxieties. :)
Even people without a disorder feel anxious about the dentist!

Meanwhile, you are in my prayers today, in Jesus' Name.
Peace to you this day,
ellie

Well i would like to report i did go to my appointment at 6pm today, i had taken some Ativan 20min before going..perhaps i should had waited a bit longer for the medication to kick in more ,because when i arrived and still had anxious feelings wich i let him know, he wasnt very sympathectic he told me that stuff wont be enough, when my docotor tells me it will.. so whos right? i do not take anything else because i`m most comfortable with it and no what to expect, i hate being on a medicated roller coaster and he was pretty adamant about pushing his meds halicon 0.5mg, that may or may not work ..but for me i dont like taking unkown drugs. i would rather stick to the ativan..it seems i was the last appointment of the day and he just wanted to go home. so i seemed to be a failed attempt :( (please forgive my poor grammer)

Michael, I would definitely pray about seeing a different dentist.
One of our friends is a (wonderful Christian) dentist, and he's very sympathetic.

He says there are whole practices out there that specialize in fearful/anxious patients! :)
Our friend doesn't do so, himself, but he's so very kind...and even he believes a dentist must be
kind and understanding toward his or her patients.
(he's kind as a fruit of the Holy Spirit, but I think he's right about the specialized practices)

I'm asking God to bless your search, and enable you to have that tooth fixed soon. :)

Michael, I know and have lived the same life you are living,
I just recently am putting all my fears in GODS hands, and call on the HOLY SPIRIT that now I do have help me to defeat the enemy and it
is not just the dentist you fear but fear itself. It is such an ugly feeling and soooo draning. I pray son that you call on the HOLY SPIRIT to put peace in you life and to help over come the fear that has taken on in you. It does take steps. some back but alot more forward, and remember that when you step in faith OUR FATHER is holding our hand.

PRAYING YOU YOU.

I'm glad you found CC. The prayer, encouragement and fellowship you recieve here will be
a big help. :)
Have you tried quoting scripture when you start to get an attack.
If you go to church maybe you can find an older man to pray with you.
My other thought is find a christian counselor.
One that has faith God can help you too...not just the drugs.
A new dentist too, my dentist is a christian and he is awesome :)
Hope to hear an update soon :) Love in Jesus, Shekaniah

Phil 4:6 & 7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Abba Father by the authority and in the name of jesus we bind and cast out the spirits, leviathan and python and powers , we bind the principality as well we place a hedge of protection around this beloved and send Holy Spirit to educate him on spiritual warfare ... beloved this battle has already been won ,own your identity in Jesus Christ and wear your armor ...amen

Michael,,
Sometimes it is a good idea to try a different medication or add another one. I had panic attacks for a few years. I used one medication daily and then my doctor gave me another medication that was for high blood pressure. The one for high blood pressure has an off label uses for acute panic attacks. It quickly brings down your blood pressure and by doing that stops the panic attack. I think it worked in about a ½ hour time but works different on different people. In you know you are going to be in a place that could start an attack you take it early with your daily medication. Not sure if this would work for you but it works for many other people.

Father God, I come against the Spirit of fear that has attached it’s self to Michael. I pray Lord that as people stand in the gap for Michael he learns his authority in Yeshua and uses your word to overcome this Spirit. Lord we your children stand in the gap for our brother in this time of weakness. In Yeshua’s holy name I pray amen.
