I need prayers please. Latley I've been driving myself crazy with how much I wanna do for the Lord and how much I wanna help others in his name. Though I know its good to do works for the Lord I also know there are times to be still and just love, seek and be with God and his word. I need to focus on my relationship with God and even though I know this I've been having a very hard time just being still. Please even just one prayer is all I need. Thank You!
God Bless! ^-^

Morning Pres19 - the fire of God has awakened a compassion and a passion in you. I suggest when your mind is riling like that, to go to your room, close the door, get on your knees and bow your head in silence. Coach yourself to just be still and praise God. Don't ask him just then for guidance, don't ask Him just then to make a way for you to do all these wonderful things you wish to do. Spend the time in reverence with Him. Focus on his grace and his amazing love for you. Take the journey of discovery and Discover God remember : Seek first the Kingdom of God and all other things will come to pass.

Dear heavenly Father our gracious Lord and saviour. I lay this dear sister before you and pray that you will give her peace, bring her to a halt and shower her with your love. In Psalm 46 you say that we should Be still and know that YOU are God, and I pray that this will be the truth in her life. We pray this in your Holy name.

Amen

We call upon You Lord God of Israel to still the racing heart of this Bride of Christ and believe in Your power of community prayer. We pray these prayers bring glory to You in Christ's name.

Hugs, I understand so well and will pray in Jesus's name for you and all you ask. :)
Remember, scripture says.....
Man may choose his course, but God determines his steps. :)

Just put your trust in God. :)

Hugs and God bless

Pres19, something that I heard a pastor say at a friend's church I visited a few years ago really hit me hard and I think it is the same thing you are beginning to learn now as well. The pastor that day preached about the differences of behavior between the two sisters Mary and Martha towards Jesus in Luke 10:38-42, where Martha was constantly working while Jesus was in her home, but Mary decided to just sit at Jesus' feet and simply be in His presence.

I love how the pastor ended his sermon by saying "Jesus doesn't always want what you can do, sometimes he just wants you."

I've never forgotten that line since, and it has helped me to take time once in a while to stop everything and just rest in His presence. I hope it can help you too.

Thank you so much!
A friend of mine tried to tell me about that but she couldn't remember where it was in the bible. I prayed God would show me in some way where to look so I could read it. Looks like he answered my prayers! Thank you!!!

You may or may not find this to be a stumbling block and if so, just avoid it but: yoga. I have been doing yoga for a very long time, and I have found that when I spend a good hour or more doing yoga, my prayer time is more fruitful because my mind is quiet and my soul is still. God bless.
