I'm seventeen and i've done some things I'm not proud of in the past. Well I've given my life to Christ and met a good Christian boyfriend to support me but recently one of my exes "exposed" something that I did a long time ago and he put it all over the internet for everyone to see. I asked him to take it off and he did but the damage is now done. My bf tells me no to worry. To trust God, put my faith in him and know that man cant do anything to me as long as I'm on God's so. Olease pray that I can build my trust and faith and that I will stop worrying. Thank you.

Remember, the Bible is God's words. Like. God, the creator of the entire universe and beyond, wrote a book for you. God himself is faithful. You know how he wrote in His book, "Do not worry"? Do you think God had the right idea when he wrote that? God knew that worrying doesn't cause anything except... worry. God said Do not Worry because God is the most faithful trust worthy friend you could ever have. Prayer is not a method, prayer is thanking God. Jesus was the blueprints of Christianity, he modeled the Christian life. And notice Jesus always thanked God for everything even though Jesus didn't have much. Jesus was totally selfless too, he faced people rebuking him to his face and Jesus never fought back in anger. He knew that each person has intense value and he knew that evil does not come from man, evil comes from the evil one. Jesus conquered the evil one, because he forgave the people "for they know not what they do," Jesus meant every word he said. Jesus knew that his war was not against flesh and blood, but against the evil powers. (not more powerful than good)

It means a lot to give your life to Christ, because Christ gave his entire life to the world and didn't hold anything back.

But Jesus said, I am the life.

You know how you've heard people say, "Wow we're in vegas, this is the life!" or something like that?

Jesus saw living in complete selflessness and walking in complete Love as "the life".

We are to Love God, but what is Love? 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.

Thats what it means to love God.

I hope you read this message in a positive manner instead of me judging you.

Sweet Pea, how awful to have your past exposed like that. :(
This causes us embarrassment, and that whole "what will people think" syndrome.
(I still struggle with that from time to time...)

But God's Word lets us know we are not to worry about that, just as your young man has told you.

Prov. 29:25
The fear of man is a snare, but the one who trusts in the LORD is protected.

Isaiah 51
7 “Listen to Me, you who know righteousness,
A people in whose heart is My law;
Do not fear the reproach of man,
Neither be dismayed at their revilings.
8 “For the moth will eat them like a garment,
And the grub will eat them like wool.
But My righteousness shall be forever,
And My salvation to all generations.”

I'm not sayin' it's easy to do...but remember as a believer your righteousness, your salvation, is in the Lord Jesus.
No one can take that from you. ♥

I must remind myself every day---eyes off man (and anything else), eyes on Christ. :)

You are in my prayers.
Grace, peace, and love to you in the Lord Jesus,
~ellie

The Lord is so faithful, he made sure that you had a supportive boyfriend by yourside to help you through this. We have all done things so please do not feel any less than, you are not. The upside would be that hey so what I did it moved on and there is less for me to feel like I need to hide from everyone.

The most important thing is that the Lord God has forgiven you.

Hi
There is word for you.

[h=3]Psalm 27:3-5[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]3 [/SUP]Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Praying for you in agreement.
