update on hands

A little while ago I posted asking for prayer for my hands.
I just wanted to give an update .
Saw the reumetologist, and he diagnosed gout, and I started treatment about two weeks ago, I wanted to wait and see if the treament worked, and thankyou Jesus and all your prayers as the medication has removed about 1/2 the pain I was having.
The diagnosis was difficult as I do not prodice the crystals of gout, but do have the buildup in my soft tissue.
I was also diagnosed with several kinds of arthritis, and am scedualed to see a surgion and a nerologist as I have some loss of use and numbness along with other pain.
I am so thankful for your prayers, as this dr is trully caring and kind, willing to do everything possible to help improve all for me.
Im not the normal diagnosis, and many drs are not as able or commited to diagnosis in cases like mine.
If you will, please continue to keep this dr and I in your prayers, as my hands are not the only effected, and Im finding myself struggleing to do the most basic things each day.
I am greatful though, as God never fails to provide the streangth and joy of His presance in my life, giving me the courage to keep going.
So please keep praying, as all is to His glory, and the streangth I need, provided.

Oh Pickles, I'll be praying for you, Gout is very painful.
I had a bout with Gout a few years back
I woke up one morning and thought I had broken my big toe in my sleep or something.
Had no idea what it was but went though 3 days of the most excruciating pain Ive ever felt waiting for it to subside until I finally went to the doctor.(worse than the time I almost cut off my thumb at the joint severing my tendon and radial artery in an accident,
On a scale from 1 to 10 that was about a 2 in comparison to the pain of Gout being a 10 )
As it turned out my diet of eating rich foods (mostly T-bones) contributed to the onset of Gout.
If it was a sin I had commited gluttony.
I quickly learned what foods to take in moderation since the meds prescribed one of which is given to Chemo patients had some harsh side effects
and also because I feel that more natural methods of reversing something which can be diet contributed are more healthy.
One thing I found is that BLACK CHERRY juice, helps quite a bit.
Not a cure all but definitely helps not only for prevention since it helps control uric acid levels but also for haulting an onset of a Gout attack.
Havent had a problem with Gout since in about 4 years now.
Again I'll be praying for you and I sure hope you feel better.

My diet has been pretty good lately, dr thinks it might be related to diabetes.
I had not heard about black cherry juice, I do have black cherry tea, I wonder if it will be as helpful, Ill be giving it a try though, as I like a more diet related action to treat any medical issue.
Thankyou for your advice and prayers, Ill keep ou in mine as well for no repeats of gout.

I believe I know the night you prayed, I was getting discouraged and wondering why so much keeps being taken away, when for reasons I cannot explain, my heart was filled with praise and I kept praising God even in my sleep.
Jesus does keep us mindful of each other and of all that glorifies God!
