Hi everyone,
I ve been dealing with porn addiction since high school and I have failed to stop it. when it started I thought I could control it because I was a Christian but as time goes by it is getting stronger everyday. I have prayed for him but it doesn't seem to go away for good. I am so tired of living in guilt and fear I want control over my life and my body. I ve heard people's testimonies of how they won battles over different kinds of addiction and I also want that. So,please remember me in your prayers!

Sister you have to give it over to Jesus and say out of your mouth, Jesus you are my savior, I rebuke the spirit of lust in the name of Jesus keep me from death (Romans 6:28 NLT "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."), because we ourselves in our own power can't do anything to be set free from our sins. Lord have mercy on my soul please I beg of you I am only a sinner, I was even born one please spare me and cleanse me through your word and love for I am unworthy of your promises and purpose in your kingdom for I am unclean. Lord fix me until I am ready for more tests and trials Father please punish me in my wrong so I will get it right in Jesus name I pray amen. (James 3:10 KJV "Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.") (2 Corinthians 5:21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.") (Proverbs 13:24 "Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.") (Matthew 17: 21 ISV "But this kind does not come out except by prayer and fasting." ) I am suggesting that you go on a fast and pray daily I am not trying to judge you but brother that's a strong hold and I also have struggled with that and various things connected to that you will be in my prayers Sister stay strong in your faith in God not yourself.

Lord we pray let you please redeem Irisa04, from this porn, who is destroying Irisa04. please help and guide to read your words and obey you. give your strength , knowledge and wisdom to say no to porn. we pray Lord please help so that Irisa04's mind, body, soul, and life glorify and bless your name, please bless Irisa04, and make Irisa04 victorious , in Jesus loving name, Amen!

Watch the movie "Fireproof" and relate to the troubles that were overcome on there. I really think it will help. I had a terrible addiction to it because I was alone. It ruined my life.Let Christ rermove it before it gets you any further.

I'm the same as you, tried to stop many times but the addiction is too strong. You're not alone on this lets try to beat this.

There are many types of addictions out there that once hooked, we can't overcome by ourselves. It takes a miraculous move of God to deliver from such habits. Once He does, don't ever look back or crack the door for more temptation, for Satan will come back & put you in a stronghold. Not possession, but oppression.

2Cor 10:3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

It will be hard to confess to another, but you need at least one strong christian to pray with, & to be accountable to.

Don't try it alone.

Memorize these 3 verses

Galatians 5:1

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage

2 Timothy 2:22

Flee also youthful lusts but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart

Romans 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for ye are not under the law but under grace

The word of God is the sword of the spirit. Jesus fought off the devil with scripture while he was being tempted in the wilderness. Keep these verses in your mind daily. Whenever you get tempted and have perverted thoughts, say these verses out loud. Paul says to thank God for giving you freedom through Jesus. Whenever you're tempted, thank God for giving you freedom through Jesus and remember that sin has no power over you.

Also try praying and fasting. It might give you the spiritual breakthrough needed to beat this habit

And also read Psalms 25 and 51 and Romans 6 and 8 everyday. Those are good chapters that will help you to realize who you are through Jesus. Read those Psalms as prayers to God and ask him for forgiveness and cleansing

You have the power to resist when you receive the holy spirit. God won't let you be tempted beyond what you can bear
