What a day, seems everyday lately has been too busy and very full.
Mostly why I have had so little time here lately.
As to my prayer request...
I was out this evening touching up the paint on our home, when I heard a faint cry for help.
At first I could not see where it came from, but felt pushed to go out front and find out.
There just inside the open door of my neighbor across the street, was my neighbor laying on the floor in the doorway.
I dropped everything and ran over to him,
He could not move his right arm or leg, and had fallen trying to get to his door to call for help as his phone would not work.
Thankfully my next door neighbor had also heard his call for help, as he too was painting his home. So He called for emergency help while I sat down next to my neighbor and calmed and helped him.
Thankfully he was able to speak well, I did all I could to reassure and comfort him until the medics arrived.
He did have a stroke, and thankfully, because he made it to his door to call for help, he is getting the care he needs now.
I shudder to think what the outcome would have been if he had not made it to his door and opened it, as he lives alone and his phone would not work.
I do want to ask that you keep him in your prayers for a speedy and full recovery, also that he will look to Jesus for all his comfort.
I also want all here to thank God that we were able to hear his cry for help, that my other neighbor and I just both happened to be out painting and were able to hear him, and that my neighbor was able to make it to the door.
In Jesus, so greatful !
God bless
