I do not know how exactly i got there.
But I found a site with a child to adopt through a Christian agency.
I will not name it, because it is not my intention to advertise or solicit.
Instead, I ask for discernment on how to give to the cause.
I have seen it before, know people who gave or give to it.
But my heart is stirred for one particular person,
child who is not in school and does not communicate in my language.
Still, no matter the impulse or the impression, I want prayer for
making a wise decision to go with whatever my faith.

Thanks to those who are more charitable and fast to give. (and I mean in general)
Thanks to those who pray.

I know God will use this "accident" for His Glory,
if not through sponsorship, then something else.
I do pray for "A," that he grows in strength in the Lord.

Thanks.

Peace be with you.
If your heart was stirred, it was God that stirred it.
(Everything good comes from God).
He is speaking to you.
Your prayers for the child to belong to God is a very big step you took.
If you are feeling moved within you to sponsor, go ahead.
God takes note of all our good deeds.
God Bless.

Idea-
You have such a loving and giving spirit. God has blessed you with great compassion. If you felt led emailing the agency and asking how you can help support this particular person might be a good way to find out more. Thank you for being an amazing example by going straight to prayer with your questions and concern for this child of God. In Christ alone - Rachel

I give each month to one of those charities. I started 12 years ago. I don't think I have a choice in what child I sponsor..... I could be wrong. I had about 4 different kids the first 6 years, until they were adopted. The past 6 years, I've had the same boy. He is older, probably won't get adopted. I'm happy with who ever they assign. The kid writes me letters, I send cards on Christmas and his birthday.

Sponsoring a poor child in a poor nation is doing the will of the Father.

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[a] you did it to me.’

So, first off, our New Self has a rule: we must live spiritually. Then we know that Righteousness is our bedfellow in Christ to whom we now call ourselves ( I know an old term, just bear with me ... Smile.). Thus, anything I give or don't give does not equate to my demeanor or gift, but rather it equates to Christ's demeanor and His will specifically for me and His understanding of our surroundings as He gives me a clear calling. Intuitively you must discern the Spirit that touches you for the one child. And seek God's will about it.

In Matthew (chapter 6) one would be wise to absorb the wisdom concerning godly giving. But one thing in that passage alludes us, and that would be any organization that may have an ulterior motive; or one which is simply manipulative or mis-represented.

So, we can say in view of the world - we need the whole of our life in Christ to decide such things. Meaning, as God leads us to give, and to what amount, so too, He will lead us to place our minds in Him to think out and investigate which is the best choices as He confirms it in our hearts as well. This will take searching what organization is best over another, in other words. And there are ways and means to do that.

But suffice it to say, God wants us to act in accordance to His will via our righteous living and Spiritual emotions are His which He gives us to respond to. But many times we become misaligned by Satan's suggestions when we mis-steward by way of our own emotions. We cannot out-give God; but we can certainly give for the wrong reasons and to something God did not lead us to.This is why it is imperative to make Our Savior also Our Lord. He must be one in the same.

I will pray with you on this. May God bless you as you obey what He makes clear for you to do.
