* * Ok, Im a teenager, soon to be junior in band. Last year, the kid I considered my best friend got the job of Drum major (or marching hand conductor) and he is now one of the most influential people in band. Last year, he also began to confess homosexuality, he stopped being my best friend. I believed I could deal with it, but not only has he gotten worse some of it is bein taken out on me. This kid used to be like my brother, I saw him as the one I could talk to, and now he see that against me. He knows what he is doing is wrong, and I can feel in my heart he knows that I still love him, I just want my brother back. Can you guys please pray for me? I have always believed that there is something that happens in their hearts when you pray. I've had dreams of this kid being saved, being my brother again. And when I pray for him, I feel God on me more than almost any other time I pray, help me please?

"...love is as strong as death, Its jealousy demanding as the grave..."

Father please be with this young man and his friend. Lead them into a good place that they can speak as friends again. Place conviction in the friend's heart for what is right and good in Your eyes. Bring peace and reconciliation to the friendship. Amen

Praying for your friend and you in Jesus Chirst is Lord.
I understand, as we saw this change in my nephew as well when he became gay, one can see the deviding and attacking spirit that takes over the heart of some who become homosexual.

Huge hugs sara.
God bless

Forget him. Just pray for him but move on. Find better friends. By the time you graduate which is only 2 yrs away you'll have completely different friends. Then in college even more different friends and he'll be a distant memory. That's how life goes especially at your age. people come and go. If you love something let it go. Dear lord help him to find better friends that aren't going to be a bad infludence amen.

That is the worst thing anyone has ever told me, I am one of those rare people who remain constant. I am NOT going to forget him when i feel so led by god to get him back. I am not Interested in acting like every other fickle teenager out there and I hope you'd never give anyone advice to act like one again. I have nothing against you and you may be a very good person but you have no right nor authority in the lord to tell me how I should go about getting my friends or taking care of the ones I have.

I wanted to let you guys know, the other day I was being an intercessor for my friend up at that alter (Praying in that persons place in attempt to have God show himself to that person for those who don't know, or just praying for others), anyway, I was baptized heavily with the holy spirit, I'd like to believe it's because i reached out and asked for help. Thank you guys, we still need prayer, but you should know your prayers are carrying power.

Dear one, I appreciate you sense of loss...I've been through something similar.

I will pray that your friend will come to see God's truth in this, and will follow Him. I also pray for your heart, and for God's wisdom for you in dealing with this.

May the Lord cover you, bless and heal you. ~ellie <3
