Please pray for us. My husband and I have been married for 22 years. We have been through some of the worst nightmares both before we met and also since we have been together. My husband is a Vietnam Veteran and did 3 tours(39 months) of war. We had a house and car and although we weren't even close to financially stable, we were happy to have what we had. My husband has been a diabetic for 21 of the 22 years we have been married. In recent years he has weakened due to problems with his digestive system. When this first happened, he lost his job because they had to keep rushing him to the hospital. When this happened, we lost our little house, our car, and everything we owned due to the fact we had no friends or family willing to help us, and not even enough money to rent a storage shed to save any of our things. We were able to get into a hotel and I got a job within walking distance. I work six days a week. We have been in hotels ever since. Everything was ok and then because I couldn't pay the amount of money they wanted, bill collectors started garnishing my check. So in the morning, unless The Father intervenes, we will be homeless. Just like so many other veterans and their families. We don't own a credit card, have a savings accounts, transportation, "friends", or family. We have each other. Everything we own can be placed in a couple of garbage bags. My husband deserves so much better than this, but it seems that there is no hope of yet another miracle that would keep us inside. So as you lie down to sleep tonight, please remember us.
