With the addition of the YouTube room, it's now possible for us to have a sort of "movie night." A lot of movies are available for watching on YouTube, whether it's the whole movie in one piece, or divided into several sections. Perhaps once a week, month, or whenever, the mods or someone else could organize a movie night where a certain movie is picked and at a set time, it's played in the YouTube room. Somebody would have to be the designated "host" or whatever term you want to use, to get the movie started and especially be there if it's presented in segments. Of course, if people act with common sense then the host need not be there the whole time. People could just do their part and load up the next segment as need be.

For a movie divided into separate videos, it would be a good idea for someone to create a playlist prior to the movie time.

One problem I see with this is how folks may, knowingly or not, play another YouTube video during the movie, thus causing problems. At least to reduce the chance of that, I think mods should do what was done (perhaps still is done, idk) for the Bible studies: announce it in chat and on the forum.

My thoughts exactly. I like the idea of a movie night. Chances are, people willl interrupt the movie though; prior announcement or not. Some simply don't pay attention; some are rather discourteous.

But I would be up for this!
