I am hoping to get momentum going by setting a petition up to ask the National Health Service in Britain to think about having surgery for children with Cerebral Palsy - it is currently only available in Missouri, USA. It has transformed these childrens' lives and instead of going to all the expense of flights, accommodation and surgery, in the USA, it would be great for it to be available in UK. It is called SDR - or Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy. It involves cutting some nerves in the back that are sending incorrect messages to the muscles of the legs, causing them to tighten.
