I've consistently noticed that new people to this site are unaware of some of the basic functions in the chat. Perhaps the e-mail that is sent out advising that they have been accepted could be modified to include some instruction to the basic functions of the site such as:
How to access the rooms menu....I consistently encounter people that think the lounge is the only room.
Basic PM function....many are unaware how to initiate, or accept PM's
How the Bible Gateway functions
and now with the new YouTube room, basic instruction as to how it works.
I know when I was new to this site it took me a couple of days to figure out some of these things on my own.
I'm suggesting this based on the assumption that the acceptance e-mail is a standardized form letter and not individually written.
