I usually ask them "Why?" "In what way?" I explain that others have had different reasons. I try to give parables to things they say, in a non aggressive way. I wonder how this would be understood, if I used this parable. When they say, because he is going to be sending people to the lake of fire. Anyways, input would be nice on if this would be appropriate. Especially in modern times, with the fancy of the walking dead.

Parable - Say you were a leader of a small town, and say a portion of your towns men were infected by the zombie virus. plus you had a deep relational connection with these people. You know you have to do something! Now do you eliminate what you know is a danger, and infect others? or Do you ask the zombie over for dinner, and greet it with a hug? Jesus is the medication, and scripture is your doctor's orders on how to complete your healing!

What do you think? I don't mind constructive feed back, for all manna is accepted..but I choose in the long run, which I will eat!...:D

I don't have an answer for your question, but i can tell you that the Suggestions portion of the forum is for recommending ways to improve the site, not for personal things. So you may want to re-post this somewhere more fitting and that has more traffic.

When people say God is "horrible or mean" there are one of two things happening... One,they dont understand what the Bible is saying or two, they've never read the Bible they've just heard people say God is mean. Either way the Bible needs to be made clear to them.Thats why I enjoy apologetics so much,it helps to answer some of the tougher questions.
