let's be honest that most of us don't prefer to use PMs to all users on chat. sometimes it can lead to arguements and no matter what pm box notices can such as ''please do not pm unless we talked in mainchat for a while'' it'll make no difference whatsoever. so my suggestion is what if we could have...

Channel: just to see which users are in the room (no pm box on nickname icon whatsoever apart from maybe a profile view)

Private: so that we can private chat people that we have added as friends to (various users will show up depending on which of the friends we have added)
