Almost 12 years now the doctor said I was going to die soon, and I was prayed for, but I didn't die soon, nor did I become brain dead! Thank you Jesus! I wanted others to know how wonderful it was to be healed and so I asked the
Lord to listen to my prayers for the healing of other people of faith in the Lord who were dying or who were very ill. I was part of the healing of several, but all the thanks go to the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost. If I did anything it was because the Lord enabled me to do it. The healings I prayed for that came about made me more happy than my own healing.

Later in prayer I was told to ask for something for myself. Not something for evil but something
for myself, I suppose as a reward. I asked that the name of the Lord would be more fully glorified.
Did I need anything? No, I had been healed! I was told that what I asked was going to happen, but it was not what
I had been asked to pray for. I was to ask for something else for myself personally.
So I did, but it was something that effected many others also.
Some wanted it to happen and others did not. So I asked for what I asked for only if it was all in the Lord's will.
I am not going to mention what it was that I prayed for, but it was something not religious, something not evil, but
something I wanted to happen so I could enjoy it. I have and still am!

About a year later what I had asked for did come about. Thank you Jesus! Many were happy that it happened
in my area and many others did not really care. I didn't do anything to deserve it, but I thank the Lord anyway.
God is soooo good!

Two months ago, my second hand car I had for less than a year broke down on me, and due to the damage done, there was no point in repairing it. On one Friday morning, the mechanic inspected my car and told me the news. At the time, I was being discipled by my best friend who bought a new car at a remarkable price with low interest. Early in our friendship she told me how God answered her prayer for a hot pink car which she wanted since a little girl. It was a fantastic testimony in itself how God provided the car for her. Knowing how God had worked in her life, I decided I wanted to see God's providential hand as well. I wanted to receive double the blessing she had received.

I drove myself to work that Friday morning, in my brother's car, and the whole way to work I prayed at the top of my lungs with tears of joy streaming down my face. Even after hearing the horrible news and discovering how much money I lost in my car, I had a tremendous excitement in my heart. I prayed to God that he would provide me with the perfect car for me the very next day. I prayed that the car would be a testimony to my family and to my co-workers about how good my God is. I was so hungry to see a miracle.

The next day I went car shopping with my father, a mechanic. Never in his life has he bought a car the first day he went car shopping. It took him over a month for him to find me my first car. By the time we came to the second car delaership, I came across my future car. It had 'me' written all over it. Not to mention it was unnaturally cheap. My dad thought there must have been something wrong with the car, so we test drove it then went home. I researched the car, and realised that only private dealers would sell the car for that price (if they wanted to get rid of it), but most car dealers sold it for $3000-$4000 dearer.

Came back to buy the car. The man behind the finances desk was shocked at the price. After calculating the figures, he then swivelled the computer screen around, frustrated and annoyed, and told us that someone had marked the car the wrong price. They sold it at some base price rather than dealership price. He went from a happy man to a frustrated man with steam coming out of his ears. So. Ask. Even a wordly man will shower his own child with gifts. How much more will our heavenly Father give us?

There was a city once that had an important sports team. It had been decades since it had been a champion,
but the fans still loved it. When it left to go to another city..it meant lights out for many thousands of fans.

After three decades plus there rumors that a new team was coming finally to replace the old, but later
it appeared that those rumors might be false. Some prayed that the new team would come anyway and later
it did. It wasn't a religious experience but it was a blessing and one for good for the local people.
Does God answer prayers like this sometimes?

There is something else. When I asked the Lord to help by healing those who I prayed for...I was
told something else. 1) I was to accept no money, at all, for any person helped 2) I was to
accept no thanks for any person helped. God is the one who heals and He deserves all the thanks. I was told that I could sometimes accept thanks just for praying for others.
There was one lady that I prayed for healings for online some time ago. She told me to give her an address where she
could send me some money for praying for her. Of course, that would not do and so I told her respectfully
that if she had to give me something then she could give a gift to her local church for me. I didn't want to
insult her, but I could not accept it. The healings of those I prayed for lasted about five years, or about until my own healing was completed. Thanks to the wonderful Christ who heals the helpless and the hopeless!!!
