i also have had many, many dreams about tital waves and tsunamis....but not specifically about the stuff that causes them

I have had dreams about tsunami's too. And I didn't know the sources either at the time.

Here is another one, it is really weird.

I was out in a farm field near where I live in Saint Louis, MO (center of the country along the edge of the Mississipi river). I was looking to the North Northeast. (Basic direction of Chicago). Then I saw two giant waves of water coming. Each was probably over 100 feet tall. They came at me silently flowing smoothly over the land. They were kind of see through. It was like they were real and imaginary at the same time. They were shaped like ocean waves just bigger. I thought in the dream that I might die. They came and passed over me.

That might be related to the asteroid dreams. Many people have prophesied that the US is going to be split in two and the great lakes are going to drain down the Mississippi River basin to form a shallow sea. The prophet Ephraim Rodrigues talks about it. He said that the asteroid that will hit off the island of Mona, Puerto Rico will make such a great earthquake that it will cause the US to be split down the middle.

I also had dreams about the land near the Mississippi river sinking into the water. Very scary stuff.
