I can't go back now. I am too far in. I think now of Lot and his wife. How the Lord made them know that he would destroy Sodom and Gommorah. How he warned them not to even look back at it lest they would turn to a pillar of salt. And Lot's wife looked back. I wonder why she looked back. Did she desire it? Did she miss Sodom? Or did she just want to see the destruction? I think it was the former.
And I think about Jesus who said that anyone that has put his hand to the plow and looking back is not fit for the kingdom of God. I do want to be fit.
Even the little things can hold me back. That is how it starts. Little by little, old lust to old lust. If I had not received the revelation of what is good and what is evil, I would not have such a strong tug on me. But now I am sure that with much knowledge comes much sorrow. In this case, I am separated from the world. Jesus Christ, though he was in this world, was far from this world.
I just can't go back now. Please pray for me. I love you all, but I must obey Jesus. I love my family, but I must obey the Lord. It is a terrible thing to have to turn your face away from people who are close to you. I don't think the Lord enjoyed destroying Israel. I see the tender loving mercy in him. I have to be 100% if the Lord is to use me for that ultimate glory. I can't be part in and part out. I have to give up ALL my life.
Oh people!! Oh people, little children!!! Go to Jesus, and he will indeed save you, but we cannot turn back! We cannot, else our latter end be worse than it was in the beginning.
OH LORD! KEEP US FROM EVIL! GUIDE OUR FEET IN YOUR WAY! PREPARE THE WAY FOR US! DESTROY THE DEVOUR FOR US! LEAD US INTO ALL TRUTH! GIVE US THE PEACE OF YOUR PRESENCE WHEREVER WE GO! OH LORD, KEEP YOUR CHILDREN FROM FALLING, FROM EVEN SLIPPING. DON'T LET US FALL! DON'T LET US CALL LORD!! KEEP US FROM HARM! DELIVER US FROM THE SNARES OF THE EVIL ONE! DESTROY OUR ENEMIES BEFORE US!! IN YOUR PRECIOUS BEAUTIFUL GLORIOUS WONDER AND POWER! FOREVER AND EVER ALL PRAISE TO THE MOST HIGH GOD OF ISRAEL!!
