I have this apprehension about driving my parents' car.

It is because it is not mine, and I do not feel like I am trusted with it. If I get in a wreck of if something happens, I know they will get mad.

(This reminds me of a parable, and so far I am in a bad spot)

I said, that if it were mine, I would have no problem driving the car, because if i got in a wreck or if something happened, I will know it is my fault, and no one else is involved. I will have to bear it.

Plus, I am not on their insurance.

Now, I am thinking about the Lord, and how I feel about where I am now. I am thinking about the Parable of the talents. And I am wondering all the more what it was about, because it sounds like I am that wicked and slothful servant.

It is mainly because I fear what they might say if I do get in a wreck. So really, I guess that would mean I don't have faith in them, and their love for me, which I really don't, at least not as much as I do with God.

I really need to consider this. Because if I did believe, their would be the signs. May the Lord help my unbelief.

Something very serious to consider.

May Jesus bless you.

Ramon,

also, with the calling you have, do you not think this also is so:

you must walk in righteousness, carefully -- to give no entry for the enemy.

(No insurance, no drive: maybe the Spirit is exercised in you.)

(But you will know.)

Best wishes;

Love in Christ, ...

Today, I thought, it is like those young new recruits that want to go right off to battle, but they have to go through basics first. But for me, I don't think I am ready, meanwhile, will I be getting ready forever while the war is being fought?

Yes, I am not patient enough yet. I know enough about that already. I mean, some do go off, but they get killed sooner, because they never learned patience. It is all about, CHARGE!!

Well, right now, for me, it is all about CHARGE!!

What I cannot stand is cowards though. I mean, people who are trained, but do nothing. Lazy idle people. And the more I see things getting worse the more I want to CHARGE!!

We know this is not a fight of wills. Not of my will, but his. No since in me charging without the commander saying to. Then I will find myself in disobedience.

Forgive me.

May Jesus bless you.

Ramon, is there no way you can buy your own car, if you need one? That would surely make things better.

(I believe Ramon is looking for work and cannot afford it, but he can answerfor himself, although maybe he can afford an upgrade of the insurance, along with siblings.)

But tribesman,

Maybe you have something more to tell us or teach us on this -- your photo shows someone of perhaps Euro background. Perhaps you were not born in the Phillipines. Your posts, to me show maturity and goodness. Did you ever charge out, were you soaked indefinitely in God before you went, or something in between?
