I decided to go to my present Church because they had a prison ministry and I saw the love of the ministers that came to the prison.

On April 7th, I walked into the Church and asked the usher if any of the prison ministers were there. She said "no", but then took me to a woman who does prison ministry at the women's facility. I told her that I had just gotten out of prison on Monday and wanted to see the prison ministers and attend church here. She took me up to introduce me to the First Lady, the pastors wife. I told her about my story and how I was there to attend church with them. She in-turn took me back to the Pastors Office. I shared with him a short testimony of the work the prison ministry did and how I was blessed by them. He asked me if he minded if he shared my testimony. I said, go ahead.

To my surprise, he called me up there on the stage. I was unprepared for this, but God had His way. I shared a brief testimony about my life and God's goodness. The Church prayed for me. Afterwards, about 6-7 people came up and shook my hand and gave me money. I was in utter shock at their generosity. I felt so loved and accepted. I didn't need to go to another Church.

When I got out to the car of the person who took me to church that morning, I pulled the money out of my pockets. I thought that it was just going to be about 50-60 dollars. Boy was I wrong. The first bill was a $100. I just looked at it in awe. Was this for real? I counted it all and it added up to $239. I just stared at it all in awe and amazement. God was sure looking out for me. Then the next week a woman gave me her son's, who passed away a year earlier, wardrobe.

God has done so much in the little bit of time that I've been out of prison. God will meet your every need and then will also throw some more blessings on top. If you are faithful in the small things, He will bless you with the Big things. I am just now ready to see where He's going to take me and what He's going to have me do.

Woah! Praise he Lord! God's love is powerful and everlasting. He's calling you by your name and He have wonderful things for you in this incredible journey you decided to join. You will not be alone, Jesus will walk by your side and He will lift you up if you fall, just trust in Him. Remember this: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28. May the Lord bless you and shine upon your life for ever.

It was a very short testimony about where I had been and my desire to be at Church with them. Many people were touched by it. A couple days later I went to the Post Office and the lady was like, Aren't you the one that shared your testimony Sunday. I was like Yes, Ma'am. You never know where you will run into people who you impact.

I have been able to share with people who have family members who are locked up and that is quite a blessing. One couples son is locked up. When they see me praising and worshipping God, it helps them out to know that their son will be out doing the same thing here soon!!!!!!
