Today at work I went outside on my break and I just wanted to look at the clouds.
A while ago, I had realized just how ignorant people have become of God. They go to and fro, about some business, or some venture, or about some duty or some work or some task. They are stressed out over trivial things, and have no peace about them. Weariness and heaviness. They can laugh but they have no joy. And cannot BE STILL!!!
One day I decided not to look at the clouds, but to BEHOLD the clouds. LOL. There is a difference, I promise. So, I beheld the clouds, and I could not contain the glory of them. They were, in the truest use of the word, MAGNIFICENT!! But that word doesn't do it honor. They were GLORIOUS!!! We use these words so often that we don't let them be fresh to us. Beholding the clouds I could see the glory of God in them. Pure and white and glorious. No painting can ever capture the glory of God. WOW!! AMEN!!
YES!!! People go to and fro seeking the glory, and trying to mimic the glory, but can never attain it. It must really be a diversion. It has to be a diversion of Satan. To get men beholding some lesser glory. In fact, men have turned so far away from the glory of God, that they seek to glorify themselves, even above God. It is really sad.
No painting nor movie nor song can capture that glory. I don't know anything about royalty. American people can be rich, but non of them are royalty. No man who ever walked this earth including Solomon has known of true royalty, save Jesus Christ.
No one has seen true beauty. No one has seen the splendor. Satan wants to pervert all things holy and righteous and good. He is twisted and keeps people looking at each other or some other thing, or listening to some other song or some other person. Anything to distract people from beholding the glory.
We have to behold his glory. Which means we have to sit still and BEHOLD!! If the glory of the clouds cannot be contained, how can the glory of God be contained in a lesser glory? I have yet to behold the glory of God. I hope to attain to it.
