A few months ago, rain poured heavily where I live. Many low lying areas were flooded. On the third day, it fell like cats and dogs. The rain was so heavy, day turned into darkness. I got a bit worried because the water was rising fast in our yard. I was sure that if the rain didn't let up soon, the water will reach our front door. My husband was very quiet. He then said he wished the rain would stop.

I was lying down on our sofa at the time. I asked him if I ask God to stop the rain and he stops it, would he believe then that God is real. He said yes. I sat up, hands together like praying, looked up and verbally asked God to stop the rain because only then will my husband believe. I laid back down after and waited. It only took less than two minutes. The rain stopped completely. No one said anything.

It did not rain for the rest of the night. The next day, i quietly asked my husband if he believed that God was real. He said no. I then asked him, "Will you believe then if I ask God to bring the rain back?".
A resounding no echoed in the air. Suffice to say, we enjoyed beautiful sunny days after that.
