Hey everyone,
Well this will be my first official post on CC and well it is one that shows how God showed me what He wanted to do with my life. So... when I was young like 5 to 10 I wanted to be a soldier like my dad was... I loved being at the armory and being around the Humvees and things like that. Well later I wanted to be a football player but I still had thoughts about being a soldier... well God used one of my friends and got me to go to a youth camp and it was amazing and it made me really think...."What does God want me to do...". I didn't make a decision that year at camp but the year after that I believed God wanted me to be a youth pastor... because well kids love me and I could see that so many teens around the country needed Christ. So later on that year... I was like well that sounds kinda dumb... and its really not that interesting of a thing to do for my life... and I thought of joining the IDF (Israeli Defensive Force) now some of you are probably thinking... where is this guy from... I am from the United States but I really like Israel.... and now some of you are probably thinking.... is this guy a jew?... no I am a Christian... but anyway that was MY dream and I should've known it wasn't God's pan for my life... now throughout that year I was really stoked about the IDF and was like this is what I am gonna do...boy was I mistaken haha... I prayed one night after church and was like... God if this isn't what you want me to do put something in my way and show me what you want me to do... so... a few weeks past by and then I get on facebook and I have a message from a guy who lives in China.... and I was like ummmmm thats weird... so I look at the message and it said... "You wanted to be a youth pastor right?" and even though it didn't say "You need to be a youth pastor"... I believe it was God reminding me that youth ministry was where He wanted me and it was an answer to the prayer.... So after this next year I will be heading to a Bible College in Missouri to study to become a youth pastor.... I hope that this helps some of you or encourages someone in some way
