If anyone is fearful, I am. I am fearful of the evil of this world, so I say, LORD KEEP ME FROM EVIL!!
But in a world that is quickly becoming a host of hell, it is impossible for us to not come into contact with events that will test us. Jesus prayed a prayer concerning this. He said to the Father, ''I pray that you don't take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil that is in the world!!''
Jesus knows what we will have to face. In this world, we will have trials, but we should rejoice in the reward to come, WE HAVE TO ENDURE!!
Yet, I am fearful of one thing more than anything, the same thing that the Lord Jesus feared, and that is to be out of his presence and delivered to my enemies. Yet, if that is his will, I cannot do anything against it. I want to be as low as the dust.
The terror of those who don't fear God is great terror. But I know, that though I may fear their terror, I know my God is more terrible. In this though, should I ask the Lord to spare me? Should I ask him to keep me from this glory? To the Glory of God, I will exalt his name, though I die for it.
But not by my own might, but by his Spirit.
What will the Lord choose?
May Jesus bless you.
