I used to be bullied in school as a kid because I was a boy who cried fairly easily. The kids at school would tease me for it and call me sissy or girly stuff like that. But Jesus has shown me that it is ok for men to cry. Men have emotions and feelings that are just as important as a woman's feelings. Jesus cries too, He cries everyday for the lost souls and for our sins that are dragging us to hell and for the pain that we go through every single day. Society tells men and even women that you gotta be 'tough' but true strength is allowing yourself to 'go there' so to speak. Avoiding situations that make you cry only shows that you are not brave enough to face them. It takes courage to come before Jesus and cry and apologise for your sins and admit that we are hurting instead of putting on a brave face and acting like everything is ok when we are actually dying inside. I don't feel bad about crying anymore and I don't feel that it makes me any less of a man. It's great freedom.

Just as long as it isn't over any given thing. Same expected for women. Plus, it's how you go about it while showing emotions. Some sit and cry while some cry for a little while and keep fighting. Can't say that I'm the second one when that happens...
