Hello spiritual siblings.

My testimony is too intense for most, so I won't post it here. If anyone would like to read it I will send it to them privately where ever they want.

The message I want to impress here is the most important thing I've learned since God opened my eyes many years ago.

I woke up one morning last year and realized that any lie, white lie or exaggeration is satanic in nature and I can prove this with two Bible passages.

John 8:44

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

We see here that Satan is the father of lies, and there is no truth in him.

Now for the polar opposite:

1 Peter 2:21-22

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

Jesus never spoke a lie his entire life. If he did that would make Him imperfect, and only a perfect human could be the blood sacrifice we call our Lord, Savior, and Messiah.

So, after realizing the toxic nature of lies, I took a vow to never lie, white lie, or exaggerate ever again.

It was difficult to stop this lying 'learned behavior' from my childhood. It took months of catching myself exaggerating stories to make them more interesting. Lies stem from selfish egos to pump us up, or to avoid accountability for something we've done wrong.

I was able to completely stop lying within a few months. Exaggerating was harder to stop, so I developed a technique to stop that too. If I exaggerated, I privately smacked my left hand and asked God for forgiveness. It might seem silly, but it worked.

I'm now free from the bondage of lies. I dig no holes and this 'world' cannot stop my forward progression of positive growth.

B.H.

This is properties of information. It's called objective and subjective information. For exemple, there is a thermometer that indicates +20 C. This information is objective because everyone seeing the same number of +20 C. When a woman came to you with a hat that for one seems it looked ugly and for other it looked nice. This is subjective.
For us the word of God it's objective properties of information. The outward appearance woman with hat - subjective. That different for us.
All the best,

I never lie, period... even if it means hurting someones feelings.

Truth is the most important thing to me and my relationship with God.

I should add that if I'm in a position where it's not necessary to speak a truth that may hurt feelings, I won't say anything at all.
