Today my withdrawals made me insane! I prayed and thanked God for helping me, then I would pray and scream at him for not helping me. My legs are killing me! I cried nonstop at work but I'm sober.
The crave is overwhelmed and a man that I've never met drove 6 hours to tell me the story of his road to recovery.
I'm miserable and hurting but I have no desire whatsoever to take a pill. All I want is for God to hold me. If that's not grace I don't know what is!

Im a recovering addict as well, im so proud of you. Ive got almost three years and the hope I feel today beats anything I felt while using. PM me if you wanna vent, cry, or cant sleep bc of the withdraws; ill keep ya company
