i had a previllage of sitting down with one of the pioneer missionary to nepal,he told me this story wid a tear in his eyes..
the gosple has only been in nepal for about 6o years,it was totally closed some people in india were fasting and praying for the doors of nepal to be opened up for the gosple, and they sneeked in to preach, however they were caught and deported by the prime minister Rana saying that gosple will not be tolerated in nepal.how ever once a plague broke out that was like after 10 years,so God opened doors for missionaries to come to build hospitals in nepal,Cornel shaeb the son of teh prime minister was in the southern part of nepal, and his son got really sick and he got his son to one of the hospital and one missionary gave him the bible, he read it and came bak in 3 months saying it really touched his life..he was then preached the gosple and he beleived in our lord and he got baptised in the river, the first nepali to get baptised in water.when he came up from the water he raised his hand and said Jesus be all the praise.
he did a lot for the kingdom of God, he translated the english bible into nepali bbile..
its a awesum story
