What us with thus whole testimony thing
Why would someone after being saved want to tell people how bad they where or how unworthy they where really who cares who needs to know and what difference does it make
If you are saved isn't that what it's all about
Are we some what more worthy because one was bad or badder or even baddddeerr
I'm sure the angels rejoice just the same to a school child being saved as to a gang member so why do we need to constantly here about how many drugs you took or things you stole or lies you told or how boring and normal you where should we be rejoicing that we are saved and look what God is now doing in our lives
What's with it really someone please explain why it's such a big deal to hear about how bad you where

My dad once told me, after I had told him that I don't have a testimony like others do, "I rather have no testimony at all, than to have been a drug addict, prostitute or gang member." And its true! Who wants a testimony when it means that you had to live through such disgusting experiences? Such hopeless and lost situations that only breed pain. Its so much better to live a life from the start in the Lord (raised a Christian) than to have some big testimony. That means that the goodness they are experiencing in the Lord has been yours since birth!

I mean, yes rejoice they came to the Lord, but a turn around testimony is all good and well, but you're already living the all good and well, by not having a testimony. His goodness is evident in your life. You dont need a big change because you are already living what they are coming into. You get to tell them how good God is. Your life is a testimony of the Christian walk, especially if you were raised Christian and are living it out (all the principles and blessings).

sometimes there's a fine line between testifying and bragging
