I've been fortunate enough to be blessed (or cursed) with the ability to talk with just about anyone throughout my life. I have had the opportunity to witness to a few people since rediscovering my faith about 6 months ago but there have also been a couple of times I felt out of sorts.

Do you have a "prepared" delivery of your testimony to share? Do you think about it often? Has it or does it change depending on who you are speaking with?

Right now I'm pretty much off the cuff with what I talk about relating to my story and what I've have experienced. My time in church as a kid and many years away as an adult. I've had my difficulties, problems with addictions, a failed marriage but I also feel I have been blessed in many ways.

I want my testimony to be from my heart and to show the emotion that goes along with the incredible gift of Grace from God and His sacrifices to show His love for us.

I wold greatly appreciate any feed back and look forward to chatting with new friends here at Christian Chat!

TimothyA,

All you need to say is give the gospel and maybe a testimony of what God has done in your life. But remember we do not save anyone, it is God through us who saves people.

As for prepared, I do have it prepared but I have had to revise, to make sure that it is accurate as it can be without having some mental errors in it.

I do not really think about it often.

It has not really changed depending on who I am speaking with.

May God bless you and you continue to grow in your relationship with Him and show people the Way, the Truth, and the Life through your words and deeds.

Welcome to cc.

i just pray and share whatever God places in my heart to share with others.

I have found that I try to prepare and find myself tossing what I thought I would say for something else after talking to the person for a while.

lol I feel akward most days, but I know if we pray and do it for God's glory, He'll make it right some how. :)

Be instant, in season and out of season. Ernestly contend for the faith that was delivered to the saints.

Any time God does something wonderful for me, I write it down. Sometimes I share by emails to my friends, on FB, or in forums. Having it written helps me to organize my thoughts so if the opportunity presents itself in conversation, I can be ready to share it. I do change how I say things according to the person I am speaking to...always telling the truth, but making it as easy to understand for that individual (if I know their background.) Anyway, I think you should write a formal testimony and share it with us! I like testimonies that focus on what your life was like before God did something amazing, what He did, then how your life is now. Good luck to you!
