Sooooo let me get this straight. They all want to be in heaven so they are chasing after drugs, sex, philosophies, pleasures, religions, idols etc.?
No. They all want to go to heaven. However, they go astray by chasing after substance abuse, immoral lust, prideful ambition, etc. and therefore get off course of their real goal (which is to go to heaven).

Hi Res...funny, I was just thinking about you before I saw your thread, I did not know you where musical and that is great.
My honest opinion.....great for Evening service or around the campfire but commercially or for radio I would say a bit more voice training maybe....just my opinion, perhaps I've been watching to much American Idols lately..lol.
I only had three hours to record these songs - we couldn't get everything perfect. It was the first time in 26 years I'd been in a recording studio. Actually, we did this in 2 hours.

There's a little too much reverb in the vocal, I did "Jesus Came Down" too fast, and I was told "I'm Going to Follow Jesus" was a little out of tune. I was using a capo on that song, so I had to re-tune the guitar without a tuner, but I didn't want to spend an hour just doing THAT.

I was picturing the subjects of the lyrics to be lost humanity not the backslidden Christian. Maybe you can make that clear.

I think the sin of pride is rather widespread among professing Christians, don't you? I think a lot of church leaders are the most guilty of all. Has anything changed since the days Jesus walked the earth? (Wasn't Jesus rather unhappy with the religious leaders of his time?)

I was hoping to get some radio stations to play the songs. I've been contacting stations here in the Reno area, and also over where you live, in California (the Sacramento area).
