I agree! being the kind of typer who uses the one (or two) finger method and stll makes hundreds of mistakes on each post; I get jealous of all you fast typers. LOL
Would it be unpolitically correct to ask you all to slow down so we don't feel sooooo bad??
On a serious note, I do agree with this, for the PM's at least.
There are times when you have a lot to say, and there is a word limit on each sentence. So you find yourself having to wait a while until you can next say something.
I don't see why it would limit us on what we say anyway...for pple who pay attention to when this feature tells you that you can't type anymore in that message, you just hit enter and finish what you were saying...by this time pple understand that. I REALLY hope that we could type more in a chat room...if you make the chat window bigger maybe this wouldn't be as big an issue, lol
I agree we should get rid of the ones for Pms...it is only between 2 people. the room on the other hand i think should be 5 lines ...it seams right now the flood warning are more around three lines
Well I looked into this for a while just now. I found that this particular feature/nuisance/whatever-you-wanna-call-it (and the settings for it) is all hardcoded in the java server; it's not just a simple setting in a control panel. I'll have to dig more to find exactly where it kicks in (in the java code), and just modify the number of messages per second allowed, and recompile the java server. If you want to help, Kyra, I'll send you the java code
